Inventario de las plantas vasculares del sur de la zona serrana de Córdoba, Argentina

Abstract: the biodiversity of vascular flora from southern part of "sierras pampeanas orientales", located at province of córdoba, argentina, is presented. the area analyzed is located between the towns of achiras and embalse de río tercero, between 700 and 1,200 m above sea level. in this area, the main vegetation units recognized for the province hills are woodland, shrubbery, and grassland. the authors have found 734 taxonomic entities of specific and infraespecific levels belonging to 103 families, including 93 endemisms of national and provincial order, one of them restricted to the area. thirty-nine new taxa for córdoba were found; three of them are novelties to argentinian flora: cotoneaster henryana and pyracantha rogersiana (rosaceae), and scabiosa columbaria (caprifoliaceae). the woodland presents the highest number of total (525), exclusive (318) and exotic (63) taxa, the latter amounting to 74 in the whole studied area.

Abstract: Se cita por primera vez a Zanthoxylum armatum var. armatum como especie asilvestrada para la flora argentina, en la provincia de Córdoba. Se presenta una descripción sobre la base de los ejemplares examinados, ilustraciones, mapa de distribución y observaciones ecológicas, como así también las diferencias con taxones similares.

Abstract: lycophytes are the most ancient lineage of vascular plants and include lycopodiaceae, iso?taceae and selaginellaceae. they are a monophyletic group separated from ferns and seed plants and are especially useful for establishing biogeographic patterns, due to their lack of coevolutionary relationships with biotic vectors, their monophyly and their remarkable morphological conservatism. the individual tracks of the seven taxa of lycophytes from central argentina were drawn and the generalized track obtained shows that the central hills of argentina are the austral extreme of the distribution of a neotropical biotic component, with closer relationships with the subandean hills and the bolivian and peruvian andes than to the chaco (where they are included), bordering the south american transition zone. the latter is characterized by arid environments and is a successful barrier for lycophytes, separating the austral region of argentina and chile from the other parts of south america.

Abstract: Las licofitas son las plantas vasculares más antiguas, comprenden a las Lycopodiaceae, Iso taceae y Selaginellaceae, constituyendo un grupo monofilético separado del resto de los helechos y plantas con semilla. Debido a su falta de relaciones coevolutivas con vectores bióticos, su monofilia y su patrón morfológico altamente estable son especialmente aptas para establecer patrones biogeográficos. Con este fin se construyeron los trazos individuales de los siete taxones encontrados. El trazo generalizado resultante indica que las sierras centrales de Argentina constituyen el extremo austral de un componente biótico neotropical, presentando una relación más estrecha con las Sierras Subandinas y los Andes bolivianos y peruanos que con el Chaco (donde están incluidas), bordeando la Zona de Transición Sudamericana, la que, caracterizada por ambientes áridos, constituye una barrera exitosa para las licofitas, separando la región austral de Argentina y Chile del resto de América del Sur. Abstract: The antioxidant activity of 80% ethanol and 70% acetone extracts of stems from red and white grapes (Vitis vinifera) used in wine industry were evaluated to determine their feasibility as natural antioxidants. The results showed that all grape stem extracts were rich in total polyphenolic compounds and flavanols and had clear antioxidant activities. The free radical-scavenging capacity of the extracts was determined using the DPPH (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl) method. The extracts obtained from red grape stem present EC50 values of 0.14 g dm/g DPPH (acetone extract) and 0.20 g dm/g DPPH (ethanol extract) while the extracts obtained from white grape stem present EC50 values of 0.26 g dm/g DPPH (acetone extract) and 0.37 g dm/g DPPH (ethanol extract). There are significant correlations between the total content of polyphenols and the antioxidant activity (R2 = 0.9352) and between the flavanols content and the antioxidant activity (R2 = 0.9404) of the grape stem extracts obtained.

Abstract: The diversity of e-commerce Business to Consumer systems and the significant increase in their use during the COVID-19 pandemic as a one of the primary channels of retail commerce, has made all the most important the need to measuring their quality using practical methods. This paper presents a quality evaluation framework for web metrics that are B2C specific. The framework uses three dimensions based on end-user interaction categories, metrics internal specs and quality sub-characteristics as defined by ISO25010. Beginning from the existing large corpus of general-purpose web metrics, e-commerce specific metrics are chosen and categorized. Analysis results are subjected to a data mining analysis to provide association rules between the various dimensions of the framework. Finally, an ontology that corresponds to the framework is developed to answer to complicated questions related to metrics use and to facilitate the production of new, user defined meta-metrics.

Abstract: undertaking the complexity of environmental systems as a thematic content leads to the application of pedagogical methods intended to the construction of mental models in students, which represent such complexity. in such sense, a learning strategy is necessary in order to asses the progress of students regarding the construction of their knowledge about the environment as well as their relationships, interpretations and transferences when applied to particular situations of reality. the main purpose of this research is studying the construction of a mental model about the environmental complexity, in order for students of the master?s degree in education, minor in teaching of biology of the universidad pedagógica experimental libertador (upel), to develop an integrating vision of the environmental systems dynamic through the application of a proposed conceptual model intended to specify the relationships and interactions occurring between the social and natural components in a specific space and derivating from such model performance. in executing this model, the activation of cognitive and metacognitive process was promoted due to its great relevance in the construction of the scientific concepts.

Abstract: tackling the complexity of environmental systems as thematic content, leads to the implementation of pedagogical methods destined to building, in students, mental models that are representative of such complexity. in this sense, a teaching strategy is required that allows evidencing student progress regarding the building of their knowledge about environment, such as: relationships, interpretations and transfers it performs when they are applied in specific reality situations. the didactic model presented aims mainly to develop students of environmental education in the venezuelan educational context an integrative vision of the dynamics of environmental systems from an interpretative analysis of its complexity. with its implementation cognitive and metacognitive processes of special relevance were activated in the development of cognitive, procedural and attitudinal competences, for the understanding of environmental dynamics.
